Dr. Ryan DuRocher
Serving and Helping Others
Dr. DuRocher has had an interest in health professions since he was young. He originally planned on going to physical therapy school after graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University. After being wait-listed, Dr. DuRocher began to explore other possibilities. He was interested in the physical medicine side of chiropractic.
After his many years in practice, Dr. DuRocher has realized that his purpose was to serve and help people, as he is able to every day and with all different types of conditions, using chiropractic.

While there, he learned a great deal not only from his mentors but his fellow students. Dr. DuRocher gained valuable experience from the student doctor he was assigned to and from his first position after school while working as an associate chiropractor.

Returning Home to Springfield
Dr. DuRocher was born and raised in Springfield, graduating from Springfield High School in 1992. Since then, he moved to Richmond, Va., followed by a time in Decatur, IL. After some years there, the opportunity to purchase Lincoln Chiropractic Clinic presented itself. Dr. DuRocher knew the practice had been founded by Illinois State Senator Dr. John Davidson, changing hands over the course of several decades of serving the community. He took the opportunity to return to his hometown and serve its people and is glad to have his children grow up here.
Having four active children keeps Dr. DuRocher busy. Each of his kids plays several sports, and Dr. DuRocher attends their games and practices regularly. In addition, he is an adjunct instructor at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield. He teaches anatomy and physiology to mostly nursing students.
